Q: What prompted you to have your dog wear shoes?
A: Because they have long hair, their paws get dirty easily, and washing and drying just their paws after coming back from a walk was quite a hassle, so I decided to make them wear shoes.
Since they are a long-haired breed, I tried making them wear other shoes, but the hair made it difficult to secure them properly, or even if they were secured so they wouldn't come off, they were fastened too tightly and they couldn't walk. After searching around for good shoes without much luck, I tried them on at the Pet Expo and they were easy to put on and they walked in them, so I bought two pairs for both dogs and have stuck with "Inutabi" ever since, even when replacing them. I also recommend them to my friends.
Q: What do you like about Inutabi?
A: Number one is how easy they are to walk in and the hold on the paws. I think they are less likely to come off compared to other shoes. Also, they can be vigorously washed and dry quickly.

A: Around the time they passed 12 years old, their legs and hips gradually weakened, they lost their footing, and they started slipping indoors more often. This made me wonder if wearing shoes could provide grip support, which is what prompted me to purchase them.

A: When I let him play in a dead-leaf dog run, his front paw was stung by an electric bug, causing spasms, and we had to rush to the hospital... That difficult experience was what started it.
